Snow day !

We know every one is tired of snow and snow pictures, but North Texas dose not get that much and it is something to see! WE have had around 3.5 inches and it is predicted to come down all day!
These are the back yard.
Holly bush
Mom liked the snow on the fence!
Wide view of back yard.
Wooden fence and drive way. Note the snow Dad brushed off his car!

These are the front yard

Neighbors yard and school across the boulevard.

Neighbor across the street.

This is our front yard, it is not as pretty as the back or the neighbors.

This is a pan of snow that Mom brought in for us! She scooped it up from teh driveway where Dad cleaned his car! M

Mom took tehse pictures about 10 minutes ago. It was hardly snowing. She noticed flakes out the window. This is not a good video cause it is hard to capture snow! The flakes were very big!

We love seeing snow pictures. It has been an unusual winter for us too. We rarely get snow and the very cold temperatures we had through December.

Wow! Look at you. Please send some our way in the PNW--we NEED it in our mountains!

MEOWZA!!!!!!!! Thanks for the pictures.....we had heard you had some snow up your way....and we're kinda envious!!!! All we've had is rain and some sleet....they tell us if we really constantly watch the air, we could see some flurries, but we want more than flurries.....MOL.

We have this same snow! Mom just went outside and took pics too, and we have never seen it snow this much here in north TX!
What a great idea to bring some inside. Mom is going to get us some right now!

Ok, mom just went out and got us some and we sniffed it and since it was not food to eat, we walked away.
But it is still really neat to see all this white stuff!

Snow is exciting, isn't it?! Gee, we've had about 15 times as much snow and our Meowmy hasn't brought us in a bowl of it to try! (although she has had lots of stuck to her boots, that's not the same) Hope you get enough to be fun but not so much to be difficult.

We get excited when it snows here too ... except last year when it snowed almost two feet ... which is a lot for someplace that never gets snow.

Are you having fried snow for supper? hahahaha! We could see the snowflakes without any problem, because they are HUGE! Stay warm!

I'd love to only have like 3 inches on the ground. Unfortunately we have TONS more than that, somewhere probably close to 5 feet!

Very cool (er, cold) pictures! The snow is actually so beautiful after it has first fallen -- before it gets walked on a dirty.

I love that picture of Angel and Kitty chowing down on the snow in the frypan! How funny!

HEY Sammy and Andy!
You know what I mean! Finally got a snow to stick and it was a good one but 25 years ago...never done it before or since.

Now we're floody.

We're always floody!

The weather guy said we got 7.3 inches as of 6pm tonight--with MORE on the way! Tommy says this reminds her the faraway land she came from: Iowa. You guys to to sample snow--I just watched from a window! :)

A pan of snow? How thoughtful of your servants! Brighton was the only snow sniffer in our house, and that was mewmie's snowball drink!

Lovely pictures! I'll bet all the children went absolutely bonkers. Bet they all wanted to get out and make snow angels and snowmen. Stay warm!
