Did I miss another event

I just found out that I missed the balance event. But to be fair to Mom, I just sis the event last night, so it is all my coaches fault!

Mom: Kirby, this is the first time we have seen you perform this stunt on Dad's rocking chair!

We are still stunned that we won the Gold Medal in synchronized snoozing!

We want to thank the host country, The Island of Cats, for a fun event! We want to thank all the other competitors that had wonderful performances! We know how hard it was for the judges and we thank them, too.

And now…

the Gold Medal goes to…

Angel & Kirby from the country of A Wizard and an Angel!

Quite impressive how you two managed to stay on

that cushion AND maintained your purrfect synchronization!!

Outstanding!!

Amazing Monday

We are so surprised and excited to hear that we are in the twelve finalist for Cat-O-Lympics' Synchronized snoozing at The Island Cats. The Judges had to call for assistance in making the final decisions.

Kirby was awarded an award by the Whippy Curly Tails for the Hidey!

Easy Sunday

We are ready to fire Mom. We wanted to enter more Olympic events but she did not let us!

Mom: It is not that I did not let you. I have had sore ears and did not feel up to posting.

Kirby: We don't understand how you got swimmers in your ear when you have not been swimming!

Mom : It was an infection in the ear canal or outer ear like swimmers ear. I don't know where it came from but it has been painful. Any pressure on the ear made them hurt (laying my head on a pillow). Air pressure changes also made them sound full and hearing was impossible.

Angel: Mom had this picture of Kirby for the hiding competition but did not get is posted so is using it today for easy Sunday!

This is a baby quilt Mom has to complete for a shower on the 17th. She got it done but we has to perform quality checks on it!

Kirby: In this one, she put the camera under the quilt with me! Up close and personal!

Mom: I am doing great today so maybe I can concentrate and find more events to enter. Mom thinks Dad keeps the ear drops in the freezer cause they are so cold!

Snow day !

We know every one is tired of snow and snow pictures, but North Texas dose not get that much and it is something to see! WE have had around 3.5 inches and it is predicted to come down all day!
These are the back yard.
Holly bush
Mom liked the snow on the fence!
Wide view of back yard.
Wooden fence and drive way. Note the snow Dad brushed off his car!

These are the front yard

Neighbors yard and school across the boulevard.

Neighbor across the street.

This is our front yard, it is not as pretty as the back or the neighbors.

This is a pan of snow that Mom brought in for us! She scooped it up from teh driveway where Dad cleaned his car! M

Mom took tehse pictures about 10 minutes ago. It was hardly snowing. She noticed flakes out the window. This is not a good video cause it is hard to capture snow! The flakes were very big!

Angel Day

It is Angel Day here! We are celebrating two wonderful years with our sweet Angel. It was a cold dreary day when we spotted her alone on the sidewalk across the street. It tool almost an hour to coax her across the street but only one open door to invite her in.

In two years, she has learned to trust and ask for cuddles. She will not lay in my lap or snuggle close, but she is better. She will stand in my lap and let me pet and scratch her. She lays on the end of the couch or the bed or a dining chair next to mine at the computer or sewing machine.

Angel: I hope lots of my friends come be and play. We have lots of toys to play with! Please take some home as party favors.

You can play with out Bolt laser toy or our turbo track!

And of course there is NIP!

Since we are on special cardboard diet food, Mom is letting us have Fancy Feast appetizers!

And you can drink from our fountain.

We hope you had fun at my party!

Naughty Mancat Monday

Mom: I do not have a picture of the naughty kitty, but knowing his love of appliances, I suspect these ate Kirby tracks!

This is the first paw print we saw.

These were at the back of the stove by the Stone ware baking pan.

After we moved the pan, we saw there!

and these two!

The stove and stone were cold. He must have done his exploring after we went to bed. I suspect he walked up the stone, and then out on to the stove.
