International Box Day

It is International Box day. This is the third year to celebrate boxes! The girls at Zoolatry always remind us of the fun of boxes!

Here are our entries. WE had to share a box this year!

Angel: I get to go first. I sit politely while Mom gets the picture!

Kirby: I know how to really enjoy a box!

Mac: I had to be bribed to join in the 'box' fun. Mom would not let me into the box I wanted because it stinks!

We will have more on that box, soon!

Strange and scary week

Kirby here:
Mom, Dad, Sisterbean, and all 7 grandkids left last Friday. Then Dad, Sisterbean and youngest grandson came back late Saturday night. Sister and Grandson went on home. Sunday and Monday Dad studied his collage class. We knew Mom would not be home till Thursday.

Then the scary part started. Dad started acting funny. He could not talk or walk straight. He checked his blood sugar and it was sky high. So he called some big noisy men to come get him. They had on funny pants that made a lot of noise (firemen). They took him out of the house on a rolling table.

Late that night, Sister came over to check on us and make sure we had been fed. Mom came home Wednesday morning and went to the hospital to check on dad. She left all of her sewing stuff at Brotherbean's house. All she brought was her cloths!

Friday, Dad told the doctor he wanted to go home. They could not find out what caused his high sugars or fever. All they were doing was giving him something for the fever. So they came home.

Mom had planned to go back to Brother's house on Saturday, but granddaughter got sick and she would not risk bringing a bug home to Dad!

Now she tells me she is going on Sunday to get her sewing machine and other things she left. Dad is going, too if he is feeling up to it. So we are going to be on our own till Monday!

There is way too much excitement going on here! We need a long easy Sunday!

This is what I thought about those men coming in and taking Dad away!

Mom: Every one is back to normal, nothing to worry about. It is 193 miles between home and my Son's house. Google maps tell me it is 3 hours and 23 minutes. I shaved it to 3 hours. I promise I set my cruse control for the appropriate speed limit and I did not stop along the way!

Fretful Friday

As you can see, we are not happy! Mom is leaving us for a squillion days! She may never come back!

Angel, I will be back in a week! And Dad will only be gone one night! It will take us both to get all the kids home!

WE are off to visit Shadow, Illyana, Ivan, Lizy, Emma, George, Peek-a-boo and Teddy.

You can visit them at their new blog: http://autumn-griffon.blogspot.com/

They would really like some comments!

And here is the youngest! We teased him about watching so many Avatar cartoons that he went bug eyed! (LEGO pieces)

Tuxie Tuesday

Kirby is checking out the cables to see why Mom's mouse does not work.

Dad found it unplugged. Wonder how that happened!

I don't know, Mom. How?

Easy like Sunday

I want to thank every one for coming to my house trashing party. It took Mom all day yesterday to clean it up!

They boys and Mom and Dad have stayed home for the weekend. One boy was hacking up hair balls and Mom was barking like a seal! They are all better today! Dad has set up the grill so they can cook burgers and brawts outside.

Us Kitties, we know better that going outside in 97 degree heat to cook or eat! Here is what Angel and Kirby are up to. Mack has staked out a cool hiding spot!

It's My Birthday!

I want to thank Sammy, Andy and Shelly and their Mom for this great birthday card! Mom and Dad are taking the boys to Amazing Jake's today so we can have a house trashing party while they are gone. There are plenty of beds to bounce on or nap on, WE know where the treats are stashed and since I can turn the light on I think I can get into the refrigerator and pantry!

Come on over and lets play and celebrate my 3rd birthday!

Not so wordless Wednesday

Mac here! It is nice having extra laps around. This is the youngest of the 5 brothers that are staying here. That is the oldest in the background. We respect their parents wishes to not display the boys faces on the web.

mancat Monday

We moved the tower to the middle of the room. Could not get pictures of Kirby reaching through the top and pulling the light change to turn the light off!

Kirby is giving us the back of disrespect because we had to take his tower out to make room for the boys to sleep!

Kneading them to the right level of comfort.

Getting ready for BOYS!

Mom and Dad have been cleaning and moving stuff and running the sucky monster a lot this week. They have carried out bunches of trash and recycle stuff! Worse of all, they move the litter boxes! The nerve of them! Angel was so upset that she cried for two days. And when that girl get upset, you can hear her all over the house!

We are doing our part getting ready, too!

Angel is marking her spot on top of the dresser ans staying up high out of the way.

Mac is letting every one know where he and Mom's spot are on the bed! He wants to make sure no one gets it!

Kirby is being Kirby. He wants to be in the middle of every thing including the middle of the floor so Mom and Dad will have to walk around him!

Mom and Dad will be gone for a day and a half and when they come back they will have the long tall teenager grand boys!

Twin girls

Our Grand kitties, Shadow, Ivan and Illana have new twin sisters. They look like they may be torties! Mom and Dad are going up to see them this weekend and then the summer invasion begins! The 5 grandsons are coming to stay two weeks. WE may not be around much, but Mom will try to make some posts and visit friends.

Meet Lizzy and Emma!
