We got our Secret Paw Package.  IT was from Summer, Binga and Boodie!
at Sparklecat !  We had not met them before!  Summer is a Therapy cat in training.  How cool is that!

Dad found the box on the porch and the tape was loose, but it did not appear that any thing was missing.  Mom had been worried because we have had package thieves in our neighbor hood. As soon as Dad brought it in, Mom knew is was for us cause it was in a Chewy's box.

This is what it looked line inside!  Look at all the pretty paper!

Angel and Kirby stepped right up to see what was going on!

Max had to be called over to play with us

Dad was helping us and so was Mom!

We got two packages of Party Mix and one of Duck Liver Pure Bites.  We had never tried them and Kirby  is the only one that tried them.    He loves them, but he is like Mickey, he will eat anything!

There was a birdy that makes noise.  We all love that one.  And a crinkle mouse with feathers! Some purple and pink balls and best of a Scratcher!  Mom got some pretty colored Wonder Clips to use in her quilting!

Kirby is not afraid of pink mice!

But he could not wait for Mom to put the scratcher box together!

Angel Explored the Christmas package!

Angel was slipping up on the back side of the box to see what else there was!

Max is playing with the balls and a mouse and the bird.  Being the youngest, he is the most playful.

Thank you Summer, Binga and Boodie.   WE love our presents!

(Mom has not blogged in a long time.  She has not been up to doing much of any thing, so she had some of her meds changes and hopefully she will be feel like her old self)

PS.  Not sure what is going on with blogger, but the pictures and words want to jump around when Mom mouses over them!

Easy like Sunday and Sunday Selfie

First, we want to thank every one that voted for Mom's quilt.  She did not win at the national level. But we are proud of her for trying.

We may not always see eye to eye, but we can get our easy on in the king size bed

Kirby did a very good selfie for his first try.   The sunshine, makes him look gray!

Quilt challenge

Cutting Table - Viewer's Choice Piece & Comfort REV

I know this is not cat related, but it has kept me away from my blog for too long.

Nancy Brown of  A WIZARD AND AN ANGEL has created a quilt in honor of her active duty military son, for his rank advancement in April.  It is an entry in the United Notions and Moda Co. Challenge to make a quilt for a service man or organization, the challenge named "Piece and Comfort.
 My husband did the quilting.

 These are the main fabrics.

This is the Pattern I selected

I missed Mom!

Look at the new header!   Our human Sister in Law made it for us.  We are not so shre about that snowball fight, though.  It looks like Angel is after us boys!

Warning, graphic photos!

Before Christmas, Kirby was helping Mom at the sewing machine.  He was laying on the embroidery unit, behind the arm that was moving. Mom looked away for a second and heard a strange noise and the machine stopped.  When she looked around, the needle was broken (all of the needle was still there) and Kirby was setting behind the machine.  Dad notices that there was blood in the table.

He must have been shaking the foot because we found blood on the floor, the storage drawers, and the machine.  There was not any on the embroidery in the hoop that mom was working on.  He let us catch him and wash it off.  We could not fins the actual wound.   He did not limp or complain about t afterward.

Then we left for a week.  Went to El Paso to visit our son and his family (5 teenage sons).  Our daughter was on kitty sitting duty.

All three were very happy to see up and wanted attention.  None of them have been cuddle kitties, but Kirby has had a change of heart.

These two are him, laying on mom on the couch.

This is another one of him today laying on the couch with Mom.

And this one is where he is right now.  He wants to sleep on my feet or under the covers next to me!
I am thrilled! I have not had a nap buddy since Wizard passed in 2008.  I have waited a long time for this!

Mom wants to know if anyone remembers where we got the Avatars.  She  wants one for Max.
