We are thankful that the heat may be breaking. We heard thunder boomers in the night, but can not tell if it rained. It is so hot and dry that we are under water restrictions and energy conservation. We turn off as many lights as we can in the afternoon.

You could take some of our rain...We had WILD storms all night, with terrifying (for the mom, not for us) lightning and thunder and absolutely torrential rain--midnight-ish right through to about 4AM.
We can relate, cuz we have the same conditions down here.....sigh......bring on COLD weather!!!!!!!!

A little less heat would sure be a good thing!
We are the ones with the hot weather right now! Luckily, we have air conditioning and it is dry heat, so it is not too bad.
