Mac is not eating again. He eats a bite or twoand walks off. We are not sure how much he is drinking, either. He has finished the antibiotics and today will finish the Prednisolone

He is still bright eyed and does not seem to have a problem getting around and does not seem depressed. He is out of confinement most of the time. We put him in a room at night with different kinds of food hoping he will eat. We are not sure if he is in pain or not. He is still skin and bones.

We are still taking it one day at a time.

We're continuing to send Mac purrs and purrayers and to trust that whatever happens, it will be for Mac's Highest Good.

The mom says the older she gets the more she realizes that all of life is one day at a time...sometimes one moment at a time, and that's the best you can do. :-/

I am purring lots for you Mac! Other than that, I'm afraid I am not much help because I don't eat much, either - although I don't have any dire diagnoses, I just don't eat a lot and been on an appetite stimulant called cyproheptadine for a very long time. It's about the only thing that encourages me to eat when I am not hungry or rejecting everything that is being given to me

We are very behind in visiting, but are sad to hear you are under the weather, Mac. Pred usually makes you hungry, darned that it isn't. Your vet could try mirtazipine or cyproheptadine if you haven't tried it already...
