This crazy week

Mom has not let us blog much this week. It has been a stressful week for them! Mon's day hunting place told her she was old and tired. They told her she needed to go home and get un-tired. I don’t understand..

Angel, that is retired. It means Mom won’t be going day hunting at that place any more.

Oh! I see. Does that mean you will be home with us all day, every day?

Yes Angel. That is what it means, after this week.

Then on Tuesday, Dad’s day hunting place told him to go home and lay down.

No Angel that is layoff! That means he does not get to go back to the same day hunting place, either.

OH NO, who will buy stinky goodness?

Don’t worry Angel and Kirby. Dad was given a job with another company and he will go back to his old day hunting place and do the same job, just as a contractor.

Mom tells me we are OK. We will still have green papers coming in, not like some of Mom and Dad’s friends that will not! She told us not to worry; we will still have stinky goodness and visits to see Dr C. when we need it. Mom says we are lucky and a lot of peoples in the CB are not so lucky.

So we went back to playing.

That is kirby in teh bag and me looking in!

Wizard and Angel,
Your love of the stinky goodness is quite motivating. I can see your humans are suffering from the flaws of human rule. The economy, that gives out the green papers, is suffering. Under my rule, there will be no need for such papers. Only stinky goodness--which is tuna. I will ensure tuna for all. Come be part of the Cat movement. Not at all like a bowel movement, but those can be good too. See my post on litter.

Yours in the quest for world domination,
Jerusalem Jones, W.I.N.K.

I'm glad your humom doesn't have to go to the hunting place anymore. Our biped doesn't either. Be careful though and don't let your humom get things called hobbies because den her retirement greens will go for things like fabric instead of stinky goodness.
ps. our biped doesn't have to worry about squirrels in da attic. dubble wide mobile homes don't have attic's.

We're sorry to hear the bad news about the stress your humans are going through. Our humans understand what it's like to be told that their cheese has been moved, and that they mustn't whine, but that they must just go out and find some more somewhere else...
... No matter what the system tells you, it's not your fault, it's the system that's messed up. Hang in there, and good luck.

Hi kitties. I saw you joined Cats with Blogs so I came over to say hi! It's nice to meet you. I am sorry to hear that your mum and dad don't have their jobs but it's good that your dad has got another one. The kitties need looking after!

Hullo!

I found you on Miss Peach's place!!! I came to see you because Angel looks just like a wee kitty I knew years ago. She was black and white in just the same way, and she was so lovely. (I think all black and whites are extra special, so friendly and fun and loyal.) Her name was Figs.

Anyway, I have enjoyed reading your blog, and I'm going to put a link to it on mine so that I can come back often!!

May I offer a wee snuggly scrunchy tickle to your lower jaw? If so, consider it sent.

We're sorry that your Mom was told to retire, and that your Dad was laid off, but we're really glad that your Dad still has a way to earn green papers. Snuggle with your beans, 'cos they need some fur and purr therapy right now,

{{{Big hugs}}}

Wow, that's a lot of change! Please look after your humans. Sometimes they say everything is okay, but deep inside they are frightend. We know you'll look after them alright!
