Snow? WHat is that

Kirby: Mom, What was that white stuff in the air and yard this morning.

Angel: I forgot you were not here last winter!

Mom: Kirby, that was snow. Yes we do get snow in Texas. Now we do not want to insult our Norther US , Canadian and European or any other friends by calling this snow, but we do get excited to see it. (North is any one outside of Texas border) Some places close to us got more!

Way cool snow! Or at least a heavy frost. Did you get the fireplace when that happened? That is the best part.

That looks like our last snowfall. We usually get a whole lot more, but it's late this year.

We don't usually get snow here, but when we do,that is about as much as we get. They get a lot more on the moors close by us.

Amazing...here we are in the north and we've gotten no snow yet! But the weatherman says we might get some today!

Well you two cats have had more snow in Texas than we've had in my section of New York! Last weekend my mom drove my human sister back to college in West Virginia and hit snow there though!

Kinda scary, wasn't it? :o At least it wasn't enough to bring the whole area to a screeching halt, like usual. MOL

Purrs and hugs,

As you said, our yard (Dante's that is) looked quite a bit like yours. We're in Canada and still don't have much snow. What we had has melted, and now it's raining.

I am very surprised to see that you do have snow in Texas, however. I never would have "thunk" it!

We can relate totally......we have no idea what snow is......the last time it snowed here (Alamo City) was in 1985 and that was long before either of us were born. Every year our beans hope for a little snow for Christmas, but it never happens....you would think they'd give up!!!!!!! xxxxxxxxxxxx

We loves the snow! You can see if your mom can scoop some up, make a ball, and freeze it for you guys to play wif later! Our mom does that, and we get LOTS of snow. Sometimes, she thinks it's funny to open the door to the deck and throw us into the snow. She laughs and laughs, while we are NOT at allthe least bit amused! Being inside kitties, we don't like how that stuff feels in between our toesies!

If it's white, it's snow ... we got so much of it last year that we thought we lived at the North Pole ...

Wow you have had more snow then we have so far - and we are right outside Chicago! Barney will see his first snow this year too - the older cats like to watch the flakes fall (I think they think they are cat toys). Supposedly it is really lightly snowing right now - I think I have seen what might have been one flake - how funny you have some and we dont!

We didn't know it could get snowy in Texas. ; )
Mom says we didn't have a hard frost yet, but temperatures dropped now, so maybe soon. Where we live it snows rarely though.
Purrs!

Yup, that's snow. You can keep it. Although that would be called "a dusting" here and nobody would worry about it.
