Not feeling better

Kirby: Mom got a funny box out and set it in the floor. I walked right in and she zipped it up! Wait! Mom! I'm in here!

Mom: I know Kirby! It'll will be OK.

Kirby: Then we went out side and got in the moving machine. I huddled in the corner of the box and did not say a word. This reminded me of going from the foster home to different cages before Mom found me.

Then when we stopped, Mom took me into a strange place and it smelled! It smelled of other cats and worse of all Woofies! I was scared! We went in a tiny room and Mom took me out of the box and set me on a cold table. A nice girl gave us a towel to lay on! I love towels! But I huddled against the wall on the towel and curled my tail tight to my back! I got so close to the wall that my back end stuck to a sticky roller. Mom pulled it off and told me it was to remove hair from cloths, not kitties back ends. She tried hard not to laugh! Then the 'nice' girl and a guy came and did rude things but told Mom I did not have a fever!

Then Mom pput me back in the box and we moved to a different room. Back out of the box I came and onto a table on the floor. They told Mom I weighed 9.8. I only weighed 5 when mom got me!

We found out that Dr Hector was on vacation so this Lady Vet looked at me. She looked in my ears and felt of me. She kept saying 'Poor congested kitty'. I think that meant that I should not be blowing snot bubbles when I sneezed. She gave me a shot and I was a good kitty and did not cry. In fact, I have not said any thing for two days!

They gave me this yummy stuff called Enisyl-f (L-Lysine). I get it twice a day! I like it. Angel is suppose to get it to, but she does not like it! Mom does not want to hole her down and force it down her cause it scares her and then she won't come to Mom.

Mom had been gone all day today so we have slept. It is rainy and twenty plus degrees cooler that the last week! I a still congested and have problems breathing from time to time, but the DR said it is not an upper respiratory infection, but to watch me! I am not sure what I am suppose to do, but I am laying on the table so she can see me!

Kirby, we sure hope you feel better soon! Fuzzy had a bad URI and had to take L-Lysine. He didn't really like it very much, so Meowmy got some dry food that he really likes and squirted the L-Lysine on that. He gobbled up the food, and took the supplement in at the same time...maybe that will work for Angel.
