Outside our front door

Mom has been talking about her Iris a lot lately. Her grandaddy set these out in the late 1920's or early 1930's. She moved them a couple of times and now they are in our front yard. Her Grandparents married in February and his flowers always bloom in February. They were prettier last week.

And this one

We see these all these things out our front door when we are setting in our chairs!

our welcome sign has a kitty like us!

This is one of the big trees where the squirrels hand out!

Dad was watering the yard on Sunday and we has Fev-vers playing in the watter. There was a Robin Red Brest the sidewalk and a Red Headed wood pecker in that big tree. Mom wishes she could have gotten pictures!

She did get this one, not very good, but it is a Mockingbird on the neighbors antenna! We could hear him singing but could not see him!

I love the Iris. I have yellow ones that I moved from the front to the back and now have transplanted in various places. I don't have blossoms yet.

You have flowers already?? It's still too cold here for us to have flowers. Your irises are very pretty!

Do you think that mockingbird is mocking you???

Hello and thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such a sweet comment. I love Iris too, my kitties helped me in the gardens this past weekend. They loved the nice warm weather we are having now. I'm so happy that Miss Peach introduced me to all these other kitty blogs. I see a whole bunch here that I can visit too. Oh my all these pretty kitties!!!!!
All you kitties are so pretty!
Bless you, Shirl

We like to listen to mockingbirds, too! Ours sometime sound like birds, but other times like heavy machinery backing up.
