Easy like Sunday

Angel: Mom came home yesterday from playing Girl Scouts and she was red in the face! She said she did not remember that canoes and kayaks were so heavy! She had a hard time getting out of bed this morning but she is not quite as red. Dad said she had too much sun and wind. Whatever!

Today, Dad got up in the attic. He was looking for a bug that is making spots on the ceiling! We should hear him ans kept talking to him, but he could not hear us! Dad sis not find any bugs!

Kirby: While they were in the garage, they let me out to play! I got to explore all over and smell all the smells! It did not last long enough cause Mom had to open the big roll up door and we had to go in.

Angel: After we all came in, we had a message for Mom:

See the food bowls are empty , almost!

And this big sack just came in from the pet store! That is Kirby with the Beasty Band on.

We put the bitey on that sack!

Kirby: But we made too much noise and Mom came and moved it! But she did put food in the bowls! Those weren't the only holes, either! Angel put a few in it too!

Mom: We received several awards over the weekend ans I will post them starting tomorrow!

You were about to take matters into your own paws huh? Wednesday was the Queen of that around here, she'd feed us by knocking over the food bags, boxes etc..We're glad your Mom had fun Scouting, sorry she got all red.

Looks like your mom was a little too slow getting the crunchies in the bowls!

Samson always 'puts the bitey' on bags of food, too! He also claws open bags of pasta or bread left unattended...

Today is the first day here Meowmy would even think about kayaking...she doesn't like to be cold and wet at the same time. We don't like to be wet at all! We agree that putting the bitey on the food bags is a good way to get the hoomans to fill our bowls, pronto.

That's a good way to make your mum hurry and fill up your bowls. We're happy you had fun in the garage:)

Ferris has to put the bitey on every new bag of food that comes through this house, kitty or doggie food. We guess sometimes the bitey just happens!

Dad should have let you up into the attic with him-you'd have found the culprit!I've heard it's really cool up in the attic, too!

It's nice to be waited on but self-service is good too :)

Wow, you guys are good a that - those bags are tough to get through! I know because all my cats always try that too - they like the paper type bags better because they can get a hole in to get the food. We are all very impressed with your tooth-ability!

We can't blame you for trying to feed yourselves, you poor starving cats... (snif, snif)... poor neglected starving kitties... hey, there's an idea, act like you're starving and see how much sympathy food you get. Works for us all the time!

Heh heh, once upon a time when my Mom and the guy she's married to were gone all day, Grady and I didn't have any food in our bowls. Mom keeps the food in a container with a lid, we figure out how to take the lid off and we knocked the container over and stuffed ourselves all day. We really pigged out. Mom had to get a stronger, heavier container after that.

I like the sacks of food when they are new and haven't been opened. They smell soooooooooo good!

Oh you poor, poor, terribly hungry kitties! ; ) Mom hates it when we put the bitey on the new sack. She says the contact with the air isn't good for the kibble and it's our fault if it goes all tasting stale... It's so very tempting though!
Kirby, it's great that you got into the garage at last! There must have been a lot of sniffy smells to sniff.

Chewing on food bags are the bestest! I love when a fresh bag of kitty food shows up in this house.
