Easy Sunday

Kirby: We had a rough night last night. I got cold ans ask Mom to cover me with the green quilt. She did, but it was not enough. I walked up the bed and ask to go under the covers. Mom let me. I ran all the way to her feet and stopped And sneezed.

Mom: Thank you very much! It was a very wet sneeze right between my toes!

Kirby: When Mom did not appreciate that, I ran back out.

Mom: I caught them snuggling on the green quilt twice last nighe and once the night before! We are so happy about this.

After the sneeze, Kirby went up on the window sill for storm watch. They rolled over us from 4 a.m. till 6:30 a.m. and he sat in the window the whole time.

Kirby: I watched the flashy lights and listened to the booms! I was not scared at all.

Angel: I had an important job too! I sat on the head of the bed and watched Mom and Dad to make sure they slept through the storm.

Mom: This morning, I found them on the ottoman cuddled up, again. Angel on the left and Kirby on the right. This was taken around noon time. Mom did not turn on the light in t he room and you can see that it looked dark outside, so we had to turn on the lasers to tell her to go away!

Dad is feeling better. Two days of resting helped. The storms cleared the smoke from the air but it is cool today, so still no open windows! The wild fires are all under control, unless the storms sparked more. One of the fires stopped about a mile from our Grand Mothers farm. We were very thankful to hear that!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Angel and Kirby! I am very sure Mom wishes Ruckus and I would snuggle once in a while.

Glad to hear your grand mother was spared! We hope the rain has helped the fires go away. We don't sniff anything in the air--not like the last couple days-we all sneezed some and coughed. Tommy has the windows open just a little--says its too chilly to open em all the way DRAT!

Take care!

That sounds kind of scary. We don't mind storms, but I think fires might scare us. Your parents are lucky to have brave kitties looking over them.

We's glad that yur fambly is safe frum the fires. Owr fambly is all in Tarrant county, so no fires near them. Stay safe wif the storms!! I(Meeko) do storm patrol, but I go hide in the closet when they get REAL bad (usually not long before the sirens start going off!!).

That was very funny about sneezing a cold sneeze right between your Mommy's toes! I hope you're not catching cold, Kirby. It's lovely that the two of you are cuddling on the green blankie together! We're glad that your storms weren't too scary. Babka, the cat who came before us, used to love to sit out on the front porch with the wind blowing rain in his face.

I haven't had to find out about storms in my new home just yet, but the girl tells me that my sisters are sometimes scared of storms if they are loud enough.

I hope the rain helped the fires go away!

we had storms too...they didn't really scare us much but they did make our ears get super pointy and our eyes get big.
