Throw Down Thursday

Yesterday's post made it look like we are the best of friends. And we are, even when we rassel! We have been at it all day!



It started early and this is the results. This carpet had just been vacuumed!



Yep, That is all clumps of black fur. Mom isn't sure which one of started it, but she finished it! She thinks Angel was hollering but is not sure. And since we are both Black, she cannot tell who is losing the most fur!

Tent Tuesday

Mom made this tent a long time ago. I have ignored it mostly, but Kirby started playing with it. So Mom washed it and put it in the living room.

We were having fun. It is easy to duck into the tent when one us is chasing the other! It messes with his mind when I am chasing him and then suddenly hide!

Monday

Today has been a lazy day. I have been on the bed. Sorry it is fuzzy. Mom is still trying to get the hang or her camera.



And Kirby was in the quilt room window. He was watching for the bunny that lives out back!

The new mouse

When Kirby came to be my brother, Mom gave us both a new mouse. His was yellow and mine was blue....




Mom, Dad, my mouse is under the washing box.

Haven't we played this game before?

No Mom, that was with Angel.

OK let me see if we can get it. -- after much banging and grumbling, Dad decided he could not get the mouse. Mom slipped another new yellow mouse to Dad --

'Here Kirby! Here is your mouse' and he throws it into the kitchen.

This mouse does not smell right. Let me toss it and whop it a little.

Hey, Mom, I don't think you fooled Kirby. Look at his New yellow mouse. He killed it!



Kirby, what did you do whit the head? -- we still have not found it!

Happy Valentines Day

Happy valentines day to every one!


Mom is running behind today so we are posting late. We did not enter any of the contests cause we didn't know how to play!

We loves all cats! so it would have been hard to decide who to ask to be our Valentines.

Dad got mom a cute card and she wanted to share it with us and out friends.

We got Stinky goodness as out treat for Mom forgetting. I don't like stinky goodness so much, just the gravy! So I licked up all the gravy and left the chunks for Kirby...

Mom can I go out in the garage?

Why can't I go?

Because, Kirby, you are too nosey and will get in trouble. When It gets warmer and I can go out with you, then you can go!

I know and he pulled the ears off it! At least he has not put it in the food or water bowl.

Mom how could you forget

It was a dark and stormy night..

Angel, tell it right.

OK, Mon. It was almost dark and cold evening. Is that better?

Yes Angel! GO on!

Dad had to park his truck out front because the city was working in the alley. He came in the door and told Mom she needed to come see what he found. She went out to look but did not put on a coat. She should have because she was out there an hour and it was 30 degrees.

There I was on the cold sidewalk against a concrete porch across the street. Mom decided I needed to be rescued. and here I am!

I cannot believe it has been a year! and then Mom forgot that yesterday was my first Gotcha day!

Mom, How could you forget!

Angel, I am so sorry! I knew it was coming up. I am sorry I forgot. I will give you a treat for dinner. Will that make it OK?

We will see! depends on the treat!

Not so lazy Saturday.

Mom and dad started moving things and they let the Kirby out of the closet! Mom wiped a rag over stuff and they tool down the curtains by the door. They opened the window in the door and in all the bedrooms! And the wind blew in the house! Then Mom got the treats our and tricked us into a bedroom. We had water, and a litter bod and a window with the wind but she shutted the door! We heard a strange man in the house ans wanted to go see. I was scared and upset. I had to stay in that room when I first came here because I had a sore leg and had to take meds. That is the only room Mom could catch me in. Today, I did not know why I was in there. Did I do something wrong? Was she going to make me take yucky meds? I hid under the bed, but the wind was blowing the bed skirt and it was scary.

Later when he left, Mom opened the door and Kirby ran out. I stayed under the bed. Mom tried to coax me out with treats and kept telling me it was OK that I was not in trouble, but I still did not want to come out.


Angle, you were not in trouble and you were not going to get meds! We had a cable man working and he went in and out so many times, we were afraid you or Kirby might slip out with him. we were trying to protect you!. We are sorry we scared you!

When I heard the dinner dishes rattling, I came out!

This crazy week

Mom has not let us blog much this week. It has been a stressful week for them! Mon's day hunting place told her she was old and tired. They told her she needed to go home and get un-tired. I don’t understand..

Angel, that is retired. It means Mom won’t be going day hunting at that place any more.

Oh! I see. Does that mean you will be home with us all day, every day?

Yes Angel. That is what it means, after this week.

Then on Tuesday, Dad’s day hunting place told him to go home and lay down.

No Angel that is layoff! That means he does not get to go back to the same day hunting place, either.

OH NO, who will buy stinky goodness?

Don’t worry Angel and Kirby. Dad was given a job with another company and he will go back to his old day hunting place and do the same job, just as a contractor.

Mom tells me we are OK. We will still have green papers coming in, not like some of Mom and Dad’s friends that will not! She told us not to worry; we will still have stinky goodness and visits to see Dr C. when we need it. Mom says we are lucky and a lot of peoples in the CB are not so lucky.

So we went back to playing.
