Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all of our friends.  

We have not been around for a long time.  Mom just has not has the mojo to do any thing for a couple of years.  Just about the time we think she is up to blogging, she has a down cycle. Today she is fighting a headache and could not remember how to create a new post.  

We did get Christmas cards  and Secret Paws Package mailed.  However, Mom forgot to to put a card in the package so the receiving kitties would know who it is from!

We are all as healthy as we could expect  for two older kitties living with a youngster.  Kirby's diabetes is under control for which we are all thankful. Angel is 12 and still looks and acts like a kitten!  She and Max still do not get along well but have learned to tolerate each other.

Max is still spraying, but not as much. 

We have a 22 year old grandson living with us  and it has made a world of difference in the social interactions with all of the cats, They all love him and will allow him to pet and pick them up.   he has to make sure they are all out of his room when he closes the door to go to collage!

Do any of the older bloggers remember Judy Bug and her blog, Sammy, Andy, Shelly Sierra Polli Katz? We had a card campaign for Judy while she fought her battle with Pancreatic cancer. Now her daughter Traci Lyn is in need of our support and assistance. Her apartment was destroyed Sunday morning. The firemen found Polli and Sierra. Sierra has burns on her paws. Shelly has not been found. there are two fund raisers going on.

Happy Gotcha Day, Kirby

Today Kirby has been with us for 10 years!  He has not had a good year.

He was diagnosed with Diabetes back in the summer.  We have been able to manage it with shots. He does not really like it, but no longer fights it.  If any one had told me 10 years ago that I would be giving him shots twice a day I would not have believed it!  The hardest part has been meal time.  They have always had free range feeding.  Now they have to have scheduled meal times and I have to pick up the bowls or he will clean all three. 

He is still the same sweet, goofy boy.  This morning he got in the shower with me!  That was a new antic!

                                           Secret Paws 2018

 

WOW!  Has it really been a year since we posted?  We really need to get better help!


We got our Secret Paws package on Christmas Eve.  Mom told us we had to wait till Christmas Morning to open it!   

Angel, Max!  Come check this out!!

It's our Secret Paws package!  Get a good sniff!  Mom  pulled up a corner so we could have a sniff!

I guess Max is not interested!

 Max picked out his toy!  A crinkley bushy tailed reindeer! He grabbed it out of the box and did not want to share!

 Kirby's is gray and he has pizza on his!  He loves human pizza, too!

 More tissue paper and a red mouse.  Kirby is so happy!

 

And with a green nip toy! That one is  says Naughty!  The other one says Nice! 

 Then Mom sprinkled nip on the blankets so we could party!  

 

Mom got sticky memo flags in cat shapes

 

And a cat ball point pen! 

Here are all of our presents and us!  This is about as close as Angel and Max get to each other!
