Forbidden Toy

This is an Ove Glove.

It is an oven mitt that we really like! It is made of nomex and Kevlar. We have a pair of them and can remove anything from the oven! The humans are not the only ones in the house that love them. Kirby goes crazy when we take it out of the drawer. He will attempt to remove it from your hand. It is well used so is stained.

If there had been there of us, we might have had enough to chase him down and get a very funny video of two humans trying to heard a cat into a corner to get the glove. It finally took the treat container to bribe him into giving it up. But he was still grabbing at it as I put it up .

Mom did play with us

Here are four short videos of us playing with Mom. WE are playing with a Kong on a wand. The string is elastic! It is really fun. Kirby has on a red and white collar. It is hard to tell them apart, but Kirby has a kong skinny tail and is taller than angel.

Easy like Sunday

Mom has been running late all week. She may start doing all our posting in the evening so she can sew during the day time. We don't care, just so she finds time to visit and post!

Mom: The embroidery unit of my machine.

Kirby: Now that you have it put together, what are you going to do?



Mom: Finish that project you were napping in!

Kirby: Then what?

Mom: Love and play with you?

Kirby: Yeah!

It has been cool here today, 61 was the high, so Kirby snuggled in to my sewing.

spooked mancat Monday

I have no idea what had Kirby spooked, but he was looking over my right shoulder watching something very intently. I admit I turned around and looked every time the jerked back to that same spot! He had his ears back, and his eyes wide!

Saturday night bath time

Kirby: Angel, you got a spot behind your ear. Let me get it.
Angel: OK, but I need to get a place on you!

Angel: Kirby That is not washing! That is biting.







Mom: OK you too. you were being so good and giving each other a bath. Why did you have to get too eager!

National Feral Cat Day

Mom does not know if I was really feral or just lost but I am so glad she found me. It has been 18 months and I have come a long way. At first I did not want to be touched. Now I beg for her to pet me! I would not get close but Now I will sit in a chair next to her chair. I will get up and stand in her lap but not lay down. I want to be in the room she is in and I will sleep at her feet no matter where she sleeps. It is my wish that all kitties have love and and some one to care for them!

Another new toy!

Mom got us a Bolt FroliCat automatic laser toy! We have had more fun playing with it, especially when Mom turns off the lights! Here are a couple of short videos. Since it is hard to tell us apart, Kirby has on the collar.

Strange week

Angel: Mom has not forgotten out blog, she has just been distracted. She spent a week with Shadows family and intended to post about them. Then she came home for two days and went back to their house cause Shadows Mom needed someone to drive her home from a big dentist appointment. She is home, tired and trying to catch up. House work, mail, blogs, you know, human stuff.



Kirby what's you doing?


Kirby: Helping Mom put her cloths up. I am going to sit in her drawer so she can not take any thing out to pack! Dad is standing guard!

Angel: She can't go any where for a couple of weeks. She has three lovies to make!
Kirby: But her good machine is not back.
Angel: I know, it's been three weeks but she can use her older one.

Kirby: Here is a picture of a bag she taught Shadow's to make.


And then there is a picture of Crazy Ivan in it!


Angel: And here is a picture of sweet Lady Shadow. She is fully recovered ans is gaining some weight back.. She is also much more social than she has ever been.


Hopefully We will be posting more often now that Mom has had a vacation.

Mom is home

Hi, Angel and Kirby! Do you remember me? It is Illyana!


I had fun with your Mom this week. . She planned to post about me, but we kept her so busy that she did not have time to post. I was a little stand offish with her. I am my own Mom's girl now.

Angel: Yes our Mom got home safe. She was tired when she got here and all she wanted was to tell us hello. We still would not cuddle with her, though!
