Easy Like Sunday

Last night was not easy!  Angel and I heard something that scared up.  Mom and Dad did not hear it, but we thought it was coming from the back of the house!.   We ran and growled, our furs stood on end and we laid our ears back.   Mom kept saying nothing was down the hall but I would not believe her.  Angel did and went on to play.  I sat at the end of the hall, big eyed and ears back.  I would rotate one ear to see If I could still hear the scary thing.    Mom went down the hall turning on all the lights in all the rooms but I still was not convinced.  So Mom picked me up and carried me down the hall!  I was not happy and tried to get away several times! Mom still did not convince me it was OK so I ran back to Dad!

So today I am taking it easy and crossing my paws that nothing scares me...I mean MOM, today!

Merry Christmas!

 First, we want to wish every one a very Merry Christmas!  Mom actually got us with her Santa hat!  Just after mom left the room, Angel stuck her head out of the tube and Kirby looked over the edge like 'Did she get you, too?"

We received our Secret Paws package last week but Mom made us wait.  So tonight we opened it.  It is from Truffle and Brulee at  Sweet Purrfections.

Monday news

We were without internet, cable and TV tor 24 hours.  It looks like someone ran over the cable box in the alley.  Mom and Dad watches a movie and listened to Christmas music and read!  They also went to the airport and had dinner with their son.   They will have to go visit him after Christmas to deliver presents.   They were coming to our house but number two grandson got pneumonia and cannot travel.  We understand and all we want us for him to get well!.

Kirby was resting on a quilt on top of the quilt box.  I intended to get it hung before it has black furs on it!

Mom has been working on Christmas presents.  She will have to wait till after Christmas cause the receiver will know what they are getting

Not so wordless Wednesday

 I was hiding in the dark when Mom found my! 

I was asleep on the bed when she found me!

Mom wanted help addressing Christmas cards so we were hiding. She is trying to make the computer print out all her labels! We are hearing words Santa would not approve of! Now she wants us to give up a box!  

Oh, she said it is to send out Secret Paws in, co that is OK.  We received out box, but we can not open it till Christmas day!  We do not like that! 

For those that ask, the new babies name is Elijah!  Mom should be posting quilt pictures here this week, too!

New Grandson

 I usually do not post family photos but  I did  just because we need something happy this week!

He was born on December 5! 

Mancat, mancave Monday

We received three cases of meet this weekend.  Mom had to organize the freezer so it would all fit. Shs put the boxes on the card table and I claimed them as Kirby's mancave!

Remembering a friend

We lost a friend yesterday.  We never met her or her family in person, but she was still a friend.    She fought a brave battle with the horrible cancer.  She blogged for her fur kids at SASS.

She was loved by many and will be missed greatly.  We will remember her as the Hat Lady because she hatted do many of us.

Happy Thanksgiving

We know it is early, but since Mom can only  get around to blogging once a week, we thought we would go ahead and say it, just in case!

Angel is giving Mom the back of disrespect.  We have heard all of the excuses and do not believe any of them..  It took her a whole week to make a quilt top for a baby shower,  but we have not seen any new grand babies around here.  Oh, Mom said it will not be here till December 5.   Whatever!!

Then she said that when she sits too long, her legs get restless and want to run and play or her bones ache, or all her muscles hurt.  You would think she   was old or something!  She tries to tell us that it is a side affect of the medicine she takes every month to help her bones get strong.  We think she needs to stop that medicine and quit looking for excuses to not blog! 


Any way, just in case we do not get back this week, we hope you all have a great Thanksgiving with all your families.

 This picture proves it that it is Toona Tuesday, or at lease we think it is!  It has been so long since Mom let us blog that we do not know what day it is! 

 

Kirby is enjoying it very much.  Angel could care less.

I am a little fried about all the ringing of the door bell.

We have been trying to get Kirby use to a harness so we can take him out more.  He loves it, but wants to run into places I can not get him out of!  Or up the tree or fence! I left him and his Dad in the yard but when I came back out, he ran to the back door! 

Mom inturrupted my Easy

There I was in the condo tube and Mom started trying to take pictures through the glass. 

  The door was in front of the condo and Mom could not get a good picture. 

 So she opened the door and I backed up!  I did not want my picture taken!

So we peeked at each other through the side window.

 Then she stuck the flashy box in the window!

 This is all she could see at the other end of the tube. 

 After Mom gave up, I laid back down  and Dad tried, but again the glass was in the way.

Angel was so cute because she does not get in the condo often!

Tuxie Tuesday

Mom, What is in this box?  Is it another quilt for me to lay on?  I know I never get up here, but thought I would look around.  

There are all sorts of things for a girl to play with!

Lots of pretty shiny glasses to knock over

and doll house miniatures to play with and tiny corn husk dolls! 

Yes, Angel, there is another quilt project in that box and many things for you to LOOK at. 

Fall may be here!

 has not been in the 100's for a couple of weeks so Fall may be here.  It is suppose to be in the low 60's on Saturday.  For us, that is a 30 to 40 degree change.  Only in Texas is 60 chilly!

Since the temps are getting cooler and it is getting close to Halloween, we wanted to share out Avatars from Wendy of Wendy's LOL-Spot.  She put us in hats.  They could be costumes or for the cooler weather.
