Easy like Sunday

It was a beautiful weekend. Mom and Dad and Mom's sewing friend went out back on the drive way and pinned a big quilt and a wall quilt so Mom can keep busy when the temperature drops below freezing and the wind chill gets below zero.

Angel made Mom take a break from the sewing machine by napping on her project!

1. Angel: I like to get in Mom's lap but I do not lay down. I stand and demand scritches.
2. Kirby: I am very curious. I want to know what is going on all the time.
3. Mac: I tell Dad when it is time for dinner. I start talking to him about 8:30 even though we do not get wet food till 10!
4. Angel: I do not like wet food so much. I like the gravy, so Dad always puts as much gravy in my bolw as he can get out of a can!
5. Kirby: I like company. I am usually the only one that will come out to visit.
6. Mac: I do not like loud or sudden noises. If Mom rattles a plastic bag, I run.
7: All: We all will get on the bed with Mom at night for treats!

This does not happen often to have all three on the bed. They do seem to be getting along better. Angel and Mac have been nose to nose with out any growling. hissing or slapping.

Angel is making biscuits in the back and Kirby and Mac are sharing the green quilt!

Mom is planning to do more quilting this weekend. It has been chilly here so she plans to stay in and quilt and cook chili! Kirby is featuring some projects Mom has finished since Christmas!

Mancat Monday

Mom cleared out some junk off the microwave table and Kirby found a new mancat cave!

Today Dad is doing the laundry shuffle. Kirby is helping as usual.

He was taking a bath in the dryer between loads. Dad always checks to make sure he is out before starting the next load.

He also likes to play sled ride in the hamper lid. He kept getting out when he saw the camera

It is cold and the wind chill is even colder. Se still have some snow on the ground .

It's my Gotcha Day

It has been two wonderful years here. I have a great sister and a new brother and all the food, treats and toys I want. I get good vet care and all the loving and cuddling that I will allow!


It is a cold day with snow still on the ground so come on over and snuggle on the big bed with me! There are lots of treats , food, drink and toys for every one and even Primo Nip!

Snowy Sunday

We do not get snow often so we do enjoy it when we get it!


Angel has the right idea! Snuggled up in a hairy blanket. Kirby had been under cover most of the day, till the flashy box came out!

On the mend!

I just wanted to check in and let every one know that my paw is healing nicely.

We are settling in for a cold wet Sunday!

Not the VET again!

The sore on Kirby's paw ruptured in the night. The swelling is down, but he had a hole that looked nasty. So he went hack to see Dr. Hector. They shaved the paw and cleaned the wound. He was a good boy and they did not have to sedate him for this procedure. They tell me what a sweetheart he is!

This morning Kirby was limping and his front paw was very swollen.
This does not show the prospective of the other paw. Off we went to visit Dr. Hector.
It appears that one of his siblings bit his foot. It dose not appear that the nail is injured. He and Mac got into a scuffle a couple of days ago but we did not think any one was hurt. He has to go back on Saturday morning for a recheck. He got a two week antibiotic shot because he is too hard to pill.
