Scarborough Fair

Mom and Dad went to the Renaissance Fair on Saturday. They did not take a lot of pictures of the people but they saw the Queen and King and a lot of Scots all in kilts. They saw this one guy that eated fire!




This guy played with whips and one was on fire. He is going to a national competition for whip crackers!



More tomorrow.

Mom and Dad have needed to change out the American flag that flies in the front yard for weeks. Today they got it done. Mom had an Army banner flying just under the big flag. It has been up there for several yeas. Today, it came down because the fastener broke. It was also in bad shape.

Kirby had to check it out!

Thoughtful Thursday

Yesterday was San Jacinto Day in Texas. Our Mom always celebrates this day but she did not tell us why!

Happy San Jacinto Day, my fellow Texans! On this day in 1836, General Sam Houston and his Texians (that's how they spelled it back then) defeated General Santa Anna and his troops in a battle that only lasted 18 minutes! Texas earned her freedom that day and we've been a proud "whole other country" ever since!

Play time

Angel with an orange Nip sock. Just before we snapped the picture, she was laying on her side using it as a pillow. I am never fast enough to get the cutest pictures.


Kirby playing with a fabric scrap. I had cut the hem off some camouflage curtains and he thinks it is the best toy. I think it needs to be longer cause he can reach my fingers on the other end!

Easy on a rainy Sunday

It has rained here off and on for two days. It did not get out of the 50's all day. Mom is cutting big peices of fabric into little pieces so she can sew them together to make different big pieces. Go figure!

Tuna!

Kirby lover sth water/juice from a tuna can. Yes, I spoil him by putting it in a plate for him. Today he was in the garage when I popped the tab on the can. He came running in with his nose in the air.

Lazy hazy Monday

It has been cloudy and hazy all day. Moms bed room is dark on days like this so we like to hang our in there.

Mom is feeling better. She is not barking as much, but it is allergy season so this may go on for a month or more!

Thankful Thursday

Kirby is thankful for a tall man named John Silvers. He sent fish and shrimp home with Dad!


Mom has bronchitis and is barking. It sometimes scares us when it is very loud. She also found out that allergies can cause pink eye. She promises to try and blog more next week.

Happy Easter

We know it is late but Mom and Dad had to go to West Texas to Check on Grandmother. SHe fell on Monday but did not break a hip! That is very good news. She is back up even though she is still very sore.

Mom and Dad helped hide and hunt Easter eggs with the littlest Grand Bean!

They made Tie-dyed eggs that some kitty talked about on their blog but Mom can not remember who. She is so sorry! Here is a link;




The pictures are not so good cause they were taken on Mom's camera! She came home from West Texas with a major allergy attach that will take a couple of days to get over.
