Thank you
There are not words enough to thank our friends for the purrs , prayers and words of comfort they sent in our time of loss. Mom will be thanking each of you this week.
Nan: We had created a memorial CD of pictures of her and her family, pets and friends that played as the church filled. They played it again after the family was seated. Some of the 'kids' had not seen it so my sister ans I were openly explaining who some of the pictures were. We laughed and ahhh'ed together as a family and friends. It lightened the somber mood and made the sad time into a celebration.
This is Mac (left) and Ms Em, (right). Ms Em went to the bridge several years ago but Mac was with Mother when she passed. He is grieving but has started to eat a little. Mother always wanted him to come home with me. He will in a couple of weeks. We thought he should get use to her being gone before we disrupt his life further. If he disrupts the delicate balance that Angle and Kirby and us (we? I don't remember grammar) have achieved, Mac will go to my daughter who has the remain two of his litter mates.

It is amazing how pictures can really remind you of stories and make a hard time a little bit easier. And it is nice for the younger ones to learn new stuff - I remember that with my mom, how nice it was to hear all the stories I didn't know.
I remember how hard it was on our kitty Mog when my mom passed away - but it will get easier. People often forget that it impacts the animals who are still here. It is good you are giving him time to adjust before making the big move.
I feel strongly in celebrating a person's life, with both laughter and tears, and it sounds as though that's what everyone was able to do. Lots of purrs and hugs and healing Light to everyone. Fingers and paws crossed for Mac!
Pictures are the best memories. Hope you are doing ok. We will look forward to meeting Mac on your blog.
Purrs and hugs from all of us,
JB, Chester, CB, Armani, Gaia, Charli and mom Deb
We send our purrs to Mac, yep, it is really difficult for all, Mac included.
We are so sorry we missed the original post about your mom. Please know you and in our thoughts and prayers during this very sad time.
We wish you comfort and peace during this sad time and hope Mac is able to stay with you all; we will purr loudly for all of you...Be sure to give your Mommy extra cuddles and kisses...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
Leaving a basket of May flowers to cheer you up a little...they have raindrops on them...it is raining lightly at the cozy cottage and mommy loves that sooooo much.
XOXOXOXOX

How wonderful to be together and share in photos what was so beloved in your mom's life...a true celebrataion and comforting to remember.
Mac and all of you are in our purrs. xxxxxxxxxxx
I left Rusty to adjust at my mother's while I worked there after she passed away. He was so lonely. After a week he was so glad to be brought home where there were cats and dogs to keep him company that he didn't even hiss at any of them. And things were so upset here that it was two days before Crystal realized the cat he was sitting and sleeping next too was a stranger. Then he hissed. :-)
I know Mac misses your mother and he is fortunate he has a home to go to. It is always sad when no one will take the pet(s) and they die at the shelter.
I also know you miss your mother. Purrs, tail wags and hugs to all of you!
