Hot and easy Sunday

It is 104 at 6Pm. The humidity is only 23%. WE are expecting a whole week of 100 plus days with the humidity rising. This is typical Texas weather in August.

Angel was curled into a ball till I picked up the camera.

The heat has caused stress and we had a major cat fight at 5 am yesterday. All three were in on it and I have found long and short hair tufts all over the house. We put calming collars on all three. Kirby is use to wearing one and Mac has never worn a collar but adjusted quickly. Angel became more stressed. She would not stand up and walk but did the crouch slink across the floor. She growled at both the boys because she knew it was their fault she was being tortured.

Today, they have all been asleep in separate rooms.

The heat has really bothered a lot of furpals and their beans. We hope things settle down soon. We just had a thunderboomer and it cooled things off a bit.

That heat is awful and can make us all quite stressed. We hope the calming collars work. Maggie May doesn't wear a collar well either.

Thanks so much for stopping by and wishing me a Happy Gotcha Day!

That's too bad that the heat is stressing you guys out so much. When it gets hot here, we don't have enough energy to fight.

If Angel thinks the collar is bad, she should see what I did the first time I ever had to wear one - I did somersaults!

We hope things calm down at your house! It's been too hot here to have a minor disagreement, let alone a Cat Fight!

We did OK with our calming collars, but May Ling was Deeply Suspicious at first.

Oh my, the drama! Hopefully things will calm down soon. Our mom used to find tufts of CB's and Gaia's furs all over, but not as much any more.

Wow that is way too hot - we hope that it will not really stay that hot all week! We tried one of those collars on Barney - it lasted all of 10 minutes. Hopefully they will be able to hang out separately until the weather calms down, and they are able to calm down too!

Well, I can certainly appreciate how they feel! That is way to hot for man and beast!

I tend to get extremely irritable when I'm hot, and I imagine your kitties are no different.

Let's just pray for some cooler weather --- very soon!!!
