Mom gave us treats for posing on her quilts today!
Angel is showing off the Texas Yellow Rose quilt. All Mom had to do was put the red binding on this one.
Kirby (in back) and Angel showing off the cat quilt. Mom had finished the top but did not like it so she took it apart and made it like it is now. It had to be quilted and the binding put on!
Kirby showing off the lighthouse quilt. It was bought at a shop in Galveston Texas before Hurricane Ike washed it away. This one was ready to be quilted and bound.
Mac (back), Kirby (middle) and Angel show off the John Deere quilt. It is folded in half. Our Sister bean started this and Mom finished quilting and bound it.
And that is this weeks quilt work!

Wonderful quilts....mama loves lighthouses, so she really enjoyed that one....but her being a transplanted Texan (for 34 years), she LOVED the Texas one with the yellow rose. A very special man in her life always called her The Yellow Rose of Texas.
We love you fella Texans!!!!!!!
Wowie, those are very pretty! I thought it would take weeks just to make a single one!
