New friends

Mom went to see her Mom for the 4th. They had to come home early cause Dad forgot some of his medicines so they were home with us for the fireworks. We did not hear many even though they were set off about a mile away. There are gentle hills and a lot of trees between us and the fireworks place, so the sounds were muffled!

Mom Brought us pictures of her Mom's (our grandma) cat and or her sisters cat's. We want you to meet them.

This is Mac. He is a tall kitty but does not weigh much. He has lots of tuxedo floof. His sister, a silky and slender, lived with him, but she had to go to the bridge early. His other brother and sister live with Mom's daughter. That sister is also a floofy tuxedo and that brother is a silky and slender kitty !

This is Stowaway. She was hiding in the water heater compartment of the trailer house Mom's sister now lives in. When they moved it, she stowed away! She is still a little wild but is coming around. She had three babies that are as big as her but she got pregnant again before they cold trap her and get her fixed. Her babies are wildcats, too, but are getting better. They plan to trap all on them and get them fixed so they won't have hundreds of farm cats. At least they have controlled the mouse population! Our Grandma is convinced that Mac thinks stow away is his sister cause she is about the same size and colored similar. Mom got a better picture of her face we will show later. Mom did not get pictures of the three kittens.

This is Brat cat. She lives in the trailer with Mom's sister. She is a sweet loving lap kitty! She was the runt of her litter and was an outside kitty that belonged to Mom's niece. Since she is a truck driver, Brat cat changed homes.

That is all our new friends and family.

Shadow is doing better as of yesterday. She still has a few problems and will stay at the Vet's office till tomorrow when we get an update. They do not know what caused her distress but are doing every thing they can for her.

We are taking it easy the rest of Sunday.

It's always good to meet new friends, even just through pictures. Bet you got all the lowdown on them through sniffing your mom and dad.

Good to hear Shadow's still doing better, we've been purring for her.
